The Virginia Lottery has never branded their popular scratchers as their own category before. This campaign, which celebrates the small wins that life brings us every day, changes that. The result was moving Virginia’s scratcher sales from 26th in the country to #1. That’s a pretty big win.

Cash Pop is a simple new game for the Virginia Lottery. Just pick a number from 1 to 15. The client wanted to reach a younger audience so we imagined each number as a unique character with its own personality – and then got them talking to each other.

Trike concept
Assorted experiential projects I’ve been involved with. My contribution was some combination of concept, design or visual execution.
To commemorate the opening of a new World War I exhibition, I partnered with Love Affair Creative to reskin the front staircase of the VMHC museum with a giant image of a poppy field, a symbol for British soldiers returning home from the war. The stairs were featured prominently at the exhibitions’ launch, which included a public naturalization ceremony taking place on the Fourth of July.
For a Facebook contest promotion, we had the idea to give away a giant tricycle built for adults. I built the tricycle in 3D, allowing us to use the renders for immediate promotion while we worked with a local custom bike fabricator to build the real thing based on the 3d model.
The client wanted to promote a boot geared toward the construction industry. We conceived an in-store "test drive" experience in the form of a circular course full of common obstacles and challenges encountered on the job.
In just a few seconds, 3D animations can help engagement, fill out campaign storytelling, and make posts stand out in feeds.

Benjamin Moore needed a trade show exhibit to illustrate the benefits of its industrial COROTECH line of paint. Diego Morales and I reimagined the logo as various modified objects, each a different case study for the paint. I modeled and rendered the letters, which became both digital and print executions. Then Crux Scenica made large-scale sculptures of all the letters for trade show display.

CG images for a mattress launch pitch. I modeled and textured the bed from photo reference. I also created various custom lighting set-ups to match background plates.
With vague dreams of turning it into a game level, and with help of Matt Wieringo, I modeled the iconic Shockoe agency – inside and out.

BridgePark is an ambitious concept to build a linear greenspace spanning the James River in downtown RVA. As a founding member of the non-profit, I produced early CG sketches of the BridgePark idea. I also helped stage a gallery show at show at 1708 Gallery, producing large format wall installations and an interactive projected site visualization. I also helped shoot and direct a 13’ x 50’ looping film that was projected on the gallery wall.

The client needed ideas for a large-scale outdoor sculpture for the company headquarters. We proposed a sculptural, "in-the-round" reimagining of their 2D logo.
